Responsibilities

Apply expertise in data science to design, prototype, and build analytics engines and services.

Identify, evaluate, and implement appropriate algorithms for specific challenges.

Prioritize, scope, and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for success.

Establish monitoring of data science models in production.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy scalable solutions.

Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange with other data science teams within and outside the organization.

Guide the organization on the business potential and strategy of artificial intelligence (AI)/data science.

Actively network with domain experts to better understand business mechanics that generated the data.

Train and coach other business and IT staff on basic data science principles and techniques.

Provide thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments, and collaborating with industry leaders.

Required

Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology and Management, Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology and Management, Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.

Two (2) years of experience with programming language, such as Python, R or SPSS.

One (1) year of experience with: Data Visualization Tool, including Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, Qlik, Dash, Streamlit or Flask; analyzing structured data; data classification, segmentation, or clustering; regression modeling or statistical modeling; and univariate or bivariate analysis.

Experience with statistical hypothesis testing.
