Responsibilities

Facilitate root cause analysis activities for product quality.

Present data to cross-functional teams and follow-up on the completion of corrective actions

Perform gage verification, tracking, and traceability activities.

Support Engineering by performing dimensional inspections on critical components.

Perform and/or coordinate the receiving inspections and measurements on critical materials

Use QMS (or similar) software to register and review documents, enter nonconformances, and coordinate the completion of management of change events.

Coordinate collection of product acceptance testing results into final product certifications and product quality release.

Collaborate with others to write work instructions and other documented information

Support and/or lead critical supplier evaluations

Other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s of science in engineering or related field

Prior manufacturing experience, may include internship

Preferred

Knowledge of core quality statistics and metrics

Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality systems standards

Experience with Minitab or JMP statistics software

Experience with gage calibration and metrology
