Responsibilities
Manage analytics initiatives to develop tools and analytical insights for business decisions.
Drive data science efforts, communicate cross-functionally, and be a subject matter expert.
Oversee statistical analyses and develop models to analyze and interpret data.
Develop algorithms to optimize data models for solving complex business challenges.
Identify, scope, and prioritize projects to improve business operations.
Work closely with IT and business owners to provide actionable insights and drive business outcomes.
Stay updated on data science, technology, and business developments relevant to the company.
Communicate analytical results to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Required
Excellent negotiating, leadership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen and experience working with senior level business stakeholders to solve business challenges and identify opportunities to create value in areas such as: value based pricing, maximizing CLTV (customer lifetime value) in a subscription business, increasing customer retention, dynamic pricing, personalized price increases, forecasting, lead prioritization, sales effectiveness, customer segmentation, etc.
Experience implementing or operating pricing technologies like Zilliant, Vendavo or others to drive execution and measure impact.
Experience with cloud technologies and capabilities
Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in programming (e.g. R, python, SAS, MATLAB), database environment (e.g. big-data platforms, SQL), and dashboard development (e.g. PowerBI)
Experience solving business problems through quantitative approaches and machine learning methods as well as vast experience using advanced statistical methods.
Strong background in Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP, processing of large data sets. Be able to mentor Data Scientists on best practices and development & productize sophisticated models.
Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Management information Systems, Engineering or similar field
10 years’ experience working within data science, analytics, and technology trends and their impact on business strategies and operations
