Responsibilities

Manage 3-4 Industrial Engineers, provide project leadership, prioritize projects, and ensure milestones and budgets are met.

Develop and maintain accurate engineered standards, review time studies, and establish best practices.

Lead, test, and rollout new concepts to improve processes and setup, integrating agronomical principles.

Utilize labor data for cost rationalization, support capital projects, and develop SOPs.

Support expense and throughput improvement initiatives, develop labor forecasting mechanisms, and validate budgets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement projects.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering

5+ years of experience in projects related to process design, work measurement, productivity improvement, cost reduction and project implementation

Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and coaching teams to achieve performance goals and professional development milestones; Well versed in team education, training, and facilitation of engineering principles

Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution center

Experience with work measurement, standard data, and predetermined time systems and tools with an emphasis on time study expertise

Experience in the development, maintenance, and implementation of a management observation and accountability programs

Strong ability to gather, analyze and interpret information and develop, recommend, and implement solutions while maintaining budget
