Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining microservices and APIs with an emphasis on scalability and performance, as well as using AWS services like Lambda, SQS, and Fargate.

Working together with cross-functional teams to create and record systems.

Mentoring and coaching junior engineers as needed.

Required

5+ YOE

BS in CS or related field

Proficiency expertise in AWS services

Microservices and API development experience

Exposure to distributed systems and event-driven architecture

Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred

DynamoDB (training available if proficient in other databases)

Event-driven programming

Experience with streaming or other messaging queues

Ability to collaborate across teams

Strong documentation skills
