Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver complex software systems for customers in emerging marketplaces.

Participate in defining, designing, and developing solutions for new business initiatives.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (Java and/or C/C++)

Solid software development background including data structures, and test-driven development

Preferred

4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Candidate should be innovative, flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to design and write high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code

Experience with Scrum or Agile development a plus

Experience in communicating with other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and produce technical designs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
