Business Banking Relationship Manager

Responsibilities
Identify prospective customers and refer them to appropriate personnel.
Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
Monitor performance and address issues.
Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
Coordinate database management and ensure data alignment.
Provide advice and support for unique and complex credit transactions.
Examine credit transactions for adherence to policies and procedures.
Develop risk profiles and credit structuring proposals.
Understand customer needs and offer financial solutions.
Develop relationships with centers of influence.
Recommend and implement solutions based on analysis of issues.
Deliver exceptional customer service and build trust.
Assist in the development of strategic plans.
Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
Provide input into operational programs.
Provide advice and guidance on solutions implementation.
Support the execution of strategic initiatives.
Conduct analysis to resolve strategic issues.
Build change management plans and lead change activities.
Develop and execute a business plan for customer retention.
Develop client rapport and instill confidence as a relationship manager.
Identify business needs and design tools and training programs.
Follow security procedures and ethical standards.
Adhere to lending processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain customer and Bank information confidentiality.
Identify risks and take appropriate actions.
Focus on business/group within BMO.
Work independently on complex tasks.
Complete additional tasks as needed.
Qualification

Required
Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful completion of CMS Compass Program or equivalent knowledge and experience – required.
Strong knowledge of business banking products, lending processes and loan documentation, and supporting policies, procedures, and technologies.
Strong experience with customer sales and service.
Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
