Responsibilities

Fully remote Java Developer to join the online organization

Work on the Cart and Checkout team supporting Cart Enhancements

Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Spring Boot

Utilize cloud technologies, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and test automation

Required

Backend Developer with experience in Web Application Development

Must have Java expertise, skilled with Spring boot

Experience with cloud technologies (GCP preferred)

Skilled with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap a plus

Experience with Node and GraphQL a plus

Strong communication and desire to learn new tools and work in an agile/collaborative environment

Proficiency in Java SE/EE

Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Knowledge of design patterns and best practices

Spring Boot Framework

Creating RESTful APIs and microservices

Dependency injection

Knowledge of GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, etc.

Setting up and managing GCP infrastructure

GCP SDKs and APIs for integrating services

Understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management)

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE)

RESTful API design and implementation

Working with GraphQL, JSON and XML

API documentation using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI

Unit testing frameworks

Integration and end-to-end testing

Test automation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex challenges effectively

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Preferred

Skilled with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap

Experience with Node and GraphQL
