Responsibilities
Create project plans and regularly provide project status reports.
Design and develop effective and engaging training materials that meet learning objectives and performance metrics.
Develop knowledge checks and assessments to support learning objectives and identify changes based on data.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training content.
Review training course inventory and content regularly to ensure effectiveness and alignment with course requirements.
Curate learning objectives and assessments targeting desired learner outcomes.
Assist in developing internal tools, resources, and processes to improve the Training, Documentation, and Quality team.
Develop training content in various formats (instructor-led training, eLearning, etc.).
Facilitate train the trainer sessions for new course content and support during initial rollout.
Create training communications for front-end users.
Collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
Promote the mission, vision, and values of WellSense Health Plan.
Complete other assignments as needed.

Required
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
1-2 years of experience in instructional design with a basic understanding of adult learning principles.
3-5 years of experience in training, technical writing, or equivalent field.
Adult Learning certification preferred
Instructional Design certification preferred
Successful completion of pre-employment background check
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and cultivate strong working relationships.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
Strong analytical, presentation, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
Ability to manage projects, work with other departmental teams and deliver on commitments.
Ability to contribute effectively in peer management teams.
Skills and experience in collaboration and team building.
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-oriented work environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, drive work forward with little supervision.
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders.
Superior meeting facilitation skills and experience leading cross-functional meetings.
Proactive, motivated, and a collaborative team player.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to analyze, compile, format, and present data to a variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability of managing competing priorities as well as stakeholders with differing objectives/perspectives.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Adult Education, Learning Design, Instructional Design, etc.) or comparable education or experience.
Possess a strong desire to learn new technologies, the curiosity to figure out how things work, and a passion for improving the learner’s and member’s experience.
Experience working with health insurance organizations.
Intermediate-level proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Captivate).
Intermediate-level proficiency in video and animation creation/editing tools (Camtasia, Adobe, and Premiere) and graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects).
Basic knowledge of Learning Management Systems, such as Workday.
