Responsibilities
Design, develop, and debug embedded software and firmware for products or applications.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and maintenance.
Optimize and enhance existing firmware to improve performance and efficiency.
Write clean and maintainable code, following coding standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Perform unit testing and system testing to identify and resolve software defects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers, to ensure software quality and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems and firmware development.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software issues.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
8 plus years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
Strong knowledge of embedded hardware, microcontrollers, and peripheral interfaces.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts.
Preferred
Experience with hardware debugging tools and lab equipment is a plus.
