Responsibilities
Apply continuous improvement methods such as TPS to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Develop, monitor, and maintain accurate time standards for all manufacturing processes.
Conduct audits to identify areas of process improvement as product volumes change.
Drive assembly and process procedure documentation.
Design production processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
Focus on reducing equipment lost-time and scrap through analytical methodologies.
Introduce innovations in production and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Provide training on effective process and equipment usage.
Manage maintenance and mechanical emergencies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations for employees and equipment.
Perform detailed Design of Experiments (DOE) and analyze results statistically.
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating costs, reviewing schedules, and estimating future requirements.
Emphasize safety in manufacturing processes and remove hazardous or fatiguing processes.
Fulfill any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven experience as a Process Engineer or similar role
Experience in developing and maintaining manufacturing processes
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPS)
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements
Experience in conducting audits to identify areas for process improvement
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
Experience in Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis
Ability to calculate production, labor, and material costs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering or related field
Certification in Lean Six Sigma
Experience in introducing innovations in production processes
Training experience in process and equipment utilization
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance procedures
Experience in managing mechanical emergencies
Additional certifications related to process engineering
Experience in a manufacturing environment
