Responsibilities
Lead software projects for household electrification, managing a team of Software Engineers.
Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to develop consumer-facing software tools.
Define and create products and processes to make electrification projects accessible nationwide.
Support the development of organizational websites and integration of services for the electrification movement.
Manage team growth, provide feedback, and ensure robust engineering designs for speed and reliability.
Prioritize and deliver a roadmap meeting household needs, and work with cross-disciplinary teams.
Proactively mitigate issues through testing, deployment, monitoring, and a postmortem culture.

Required
Experience in running teams and delivering projects that make a meaningful difference to customers
Product-minded engineer with a focus on meeting the needs of real people
Experience in consumer-facing apps, climate, sustainability, renewable energy, building electrification, civic or government tech, nonprofits, political campaigns, or other relevant domains
Ability to guide, coach, and mentor junior and senior engineers
Experience with headless CMS systems, design systems, and CRM integrations
Commitment to Rewiring America's values, vision, and mission
Preferred
Experience in consumer-facing apps, climate, sustainability, renewable energy, building electrification, civic or government tech, nonprofits, political campaigns, or other relevant domains
Experience with some of the current stack (Google Cloud Run, Postgres, Node.js, Typescript, Vercel, React, Next.js, Terraform)
Familiarity and interest in working with headless CMS systems, design systems, and CRM integrations
