Responsibilities

Create cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs and leverage cloud capabilities.
Develop cloud solutions for challenging problems and assist clients in improving their environments using cloud technologies.
Inform strategy and design, ensure standards are met during cloud migration, and recommend tools and solutions based on environment research.
Lead a team to help clients overcome challenges in the cloud, collaborate with fellow cloud engineers, and utilize cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms.
Design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components, work within a DevOps framework, and manage container apps using products like Kubernetes.
Explore different ways to solve client challenges using AWS, Azure, and GCP labs, and partner with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Required

5+ years of experience with cloud engineering
Experience with AWS
Experience with application software development and databases
Experience with application architecture
Experience with Cloud development, migration, and implementation
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
Experience with AWS native databases, including RDS for Oracle
Experience with DevOps methods and practices
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree

Preferred

Experience with Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID
Experience with Advanced Networking design and troubleshooting, including DNS, Routing, or Subnetting
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, Cloud formation, or Configuration as Code such as AWS SSM, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
Knowledge of Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server
Knowledge of Active Directory and GPO
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified Developer - Associate Certification
