Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate department activity/workload.

Monitor employee performance, providing feedback.

Complete performance growth, development and training of staff.

Ensure that employees perform work safely.

Encourage efficient processing methods to meet customer needs.

Review engineering designs to ensure quality and conformance with company standards.

Design, upgrade, and implement new processes and procedures to improve efficiency.

Coordinate interdepartmental activities and support large projects.

Required

B.S. in Electrical Engineering required

Five years’ experience in applying electronic knowledge to produce a product from concept

Two years supervisory experience

Able to work in teams

Ability to interact and work effectively to achieve common goals with other departments including supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing

Fosters an environment where motivation and attitude are positive

Acts as a mentor for subordinates

Ability to effectively present information to top management, managers, clients and customers

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail, and other PC application skills
