Responsibilities

Accountable for the implementation and maintenance of corporate customs compliance policies and procedures.

Serve as the customs brokers’ point of contact for all U.S. imports, responsible for resolving unexpected delays and responding to customs and PGA holds and inquiries.

Serve as internal customer point of contact to conduct day-to-day trade activities to ensure international shipments comply with all relevant regulations through the review and approval of shipping documentation, classification, valuation and Incoterms.

Avoid supply chain interruptions by minimizing risk to temperature sensitive materials.

Participate in a variety of projects supporting the broader International US and Canadian import teams’ goals and objectives.

Assist Trade Compliance in administering an effective import compliance program to ensure company compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Required

Good working knowledge of US Logistics, and familiarity with US and Canadian import regulations.

Good interpersonal skills necessary to help develop and support staff throughout the organization, and a requirement in a fast-paced, team-oriented position.

Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to assist with design plans & procedures and to implement them at the operational level.

2 years logistics experience

Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred

Working knowledge of ACE, Shift, and Veeva
