Responsibilities
Assure relevant metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost are met and trending positively.
Act as a lead technical reference for internal and external customers in materials, coatings, and assembly applications.
Develop coating/post-coating processes based on customer requirements and qualify new products/processes.
Support production costs quotation and feasibility study, and decrease manufacturing costs.
Determine and approve process standards of new components and meet qualification stage gates.
Develop, check, and improve component standards for cost savings and process improvement.
Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action activities and utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods for problem-solving.
Adhere to the Company's Quality and Safety Management System.
Participate in Kaizen events, promote a positive employee environment, and community involvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification

Required
Proven experience in the Engineering field. Industrial gas turbine, aerospace, or automotive industry strongly preferred.
New company startup and/or Joint Venture experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Solid Works and Minitab. Knowledge of CAM or Robot programming (e.g. RobotStudio) software is a plus. Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of customers, including technical managers.
Experience with ERP systems, including creation and management of bill of materials is preferred.
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
Strong knowledge of both metric and US measurement systems.
Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
Preferred
A Mechanical or Robotic Engineer 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
Availability to train for one month in Italy at the headquarters of the Unitedcoatings Group is required. Otherwise, occasional overseas and domestic travel will be required to support the rapid growth of Lincotek Surface Solutions.
