Responsibilities

Working with Management and Engineering to plan and lead efforts for smooth start-up and ongoing operations of distillation and ion exchange processes
Providing process engineering expertise to support water treatment facilities
Coordinating with Environmental Compliance group for regulatory compliance
Ensuring a safe working environment for Wastewater Treatment staff
Monitoring process data trends and key indicators
Coordinating meetings with management for project reviews

Required

Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry from an accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: Chemical Engineering, Reactive Chemistry, Manufacturing Technology, Process Engineering, Manufacturing/Production Operations, and/or Environmental Compliance in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Minimum of two (2) years of combined experience with distillation columns or ion exchange operations in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience with water and wastewater treatment or related processes (Private, Public, Government or Military)
Class A, B, C or D wastewater and/or water operator licenses
Experience in project management
Strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in teams.
