Responsibilities

Contribute to the flagship security product, Appgate SDP, as an early team member and part of a creative cross-functional team

Participate and lead team decisions about the technical direction

Design, architect, develop, test, review code, document, and deploy Appgate SDP

Troubleshoot and debug technical issues that end users encounter

Work closely with product, cloud, application, DevOps security teams

Build automated tests and integrate code within the development environment

Build DevOps frameworks for safe production deployments which can easily be maintained and operated by SRE’s

Always learn, bring new concepts and cutting-edge technology to the team

Required

Minimum 5+ years of experience developing using Python and/or Go

Experience supporting developers, creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines, creating and delivering Linux-based appliances, as well as containerizing applications and microservices

Proficiency with containers (Kubernetes, Docker and Docker Compose)

Experience moving from an appliance/on-prem delivery model to a SaaS/container delivery model

Strong knowledge of Linux including deep experience with packaging, namespaces, system, iptables, DNS, TCP/IP networking and other Linux concepts
