Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust network solutions to support the company’s operations.
Develop and deploy network architecture plans for new and existing systems, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VoIP.
Monitor and maintain network performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot network issues and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Perform regular network performance tuning and provide network performance statistics and reports.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Implement and manage NAC (Network Access Control)
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date network diagrams, documentation, and inventory records.
Provide status reports and network performance metrics to management.
Work closely with other IT & Cybersecurity team members, departments, and external vendors.
Provide training and support to staff on network-related issues and best practices.
Participate in project planning and prioritization activities.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking hardware (routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, etc.) and accompanying management software.
Proficient understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
Solid understanding of network security principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving & debugging skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCIE, CompTIA Network+)
