Responsibilities
Collaborates with internal business partners and subject matter experts to conduct training needs assessments.
Actively participates on project teams to support the development and delivery of training for specific business initiatives and strategies.
Utilizing instructional systems design and adult learning principles, designs and develops training and development solutions.
Works to ensure that training solutions meet business goals and optimal performance outcomes.
Creates supporting material/media for new and existing training programs.
Applies instructional design theories, practice, and methods including ADDIE.
Conducts instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
Stays informed of the current trends in training and development.
Works closely with Training and Development specialists to establish consistent standards for all delivered training programs.
Utilizes the Learning Management System (LMS) for effective training and development.
Evaluates learning effectiveness and implements program improvements.
Performs quality assurance on all learning and development materials.
Periodically delivers in-person and virtual training.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in instructional design and with instructional technology required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with course development software required (Articulate 360 Suite preferred).
Minimum 3 years’ experience performing administrative functions in a Learning Management System required.
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience delivering and facilitating instructor-led classroom training required.
Preferred
Certification in Instructional Design or other relevant training and performance certification.
Experience designing, developing, and delivering training in a credit union or other financial service organization.
Experience using visual design software (eg. Photoshop, Illustrator) and demonstrated ability to storyboard.
