Responsibilities
Conduct site research and prepare feasibility reports for new projects.
Perform field visits to assess site conditions and construction status, and train team members for these tasks.
Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve technical issues under Project Manager supervision.
Prepare, manage, and review engineering reports and construction specifications.
Monitor team and individual efficiency and workload with the Project Manager.
Train team members on AutoCAD for addressing review comments and updating plans.
Attend city meetings related to assigned projects (e.g., Planning & Zoning Commissions, City Council, pre-development, and pre-construction meetings).
Visit job sites to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Serve as a liaison for managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Create and maintain project management checklists and investigate and resolve potential issues.
Establish close working relationships with team members and the Project Manager.
Develop and implement quality control plans.
Communicate with the Survey Department on proposals, scope, work requirements, and budgets.

Required
4+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain within 6 months
Proficiency in producing engineering drawings and calculations
Ability to guide the production of engineering drawings, calculations, submittals, and reports
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Strong self-starter capable of working independently and within a team environment
Flexibility to adapt to changes in work assignments on short notice
Proficiency in Civil 3D, Hydrographs, Hydroflow Storm Sewers, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS
Comprehensive understanding of platting and other entitlement processes
Ability to identify project critical paths and coordinate accordingly
Skill in diagnosing calculation problems and providing guidance to subordinates
Preferred
Experience with Project Management/Accounting Software (AJERA)
