Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and deploy scalable and reliable cloud architecture to meet business needs.
Cloud Services Management: Manage AWS cloud services including databases, storage, and computing resources to ensure optimal operation.
Migration: Plan and execute the migration of applications and data to AWS and within AWS technologies, ensuring minimal disruption and high efficiency.
Security: Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Cost Management: Monitor and optimize resource usage to control costs while maintaining performance.
Performance Tuning: Ensure optimal performance of cloud-based applications and services through continuous monitoring and improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to integrate and maintain cloud solutions, providing technical guidance and support in a responsive manner.
Customer Success Mindset: Focus on delivering solutions that enhance the user experience and meet the needs of our customers.
Leadership and Mentorship: Lead the cloud infrastructure area for Pathful, setting standards and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
Proven track record of designing and managing large-scale cloud infrastructures.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Self-directed with a focus on becoming an expert in best practice implementations.
Preferred
Experience managing Azure based infrastructure is a plus.
