Responsibilities
Perform complex data analysis, query and report development leveraging financial and custom business systems.
Work with end users, developers, and team management to understand business processes and requirements.
Assist in the development of process changes or new technical solutions to satisfy business needs.
Develop reports using BI Tools like IBM Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects, and other tools for management reporting and financial analysis.
Work with the BI Solutions team to develop data analysis models and create reports against source and data warehouse technologies.
Address ad-hoc data analysis requests and manage appropriate timelines via ticketing systems like Service Now and JIRA.
Partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure a holistic understanding of business requirements.
Troubleshoot data and application issues, fully analyze impact, and determine resolution strategies.
Assess the BI readiness of a business area and implement BI solutions from requirements gathering through post-implementation support.

Required
2+ years of experience BI Development
Strong experience with SQL, including writing complex SQL queries
Experience developing reports and dashboards with Tableau and/or Cognos
Strong Excel experience, including Advanced Excel experience
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science or a related IT or Analytics field
Experience working in professional services environments
Experience with Cognos Analytics and/or TM1
Experience with Power BI
Experience with SSRS, SSAS, SSMS
