Responsibilities
Facilitate, advise, and train all Leidos business areas in utilizing OR analysis and M&S capability.
Conduct technical solutioning, system trade studies, digital engineering, and model-based system engineering.
Perform operational effectiveness analysis at various levels and support mission planning, logistics, maintenance, and sustainment.
Define and maintain standard OR analysis and M&S playbooks, templates, processes, tools, and procedures.
Collaborate with Customers and Leidos teams to discern key customer requirements and demonstrate the military utility of Leidos solutions.
Utilize ORSA concepts, analytic techniques, and methodologies such as mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, simulation, decision analysis, and economic models.
Communicate effectively with senior management, influence and persuade others, and handle negotiations.
Possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance and be willing to travel up to 25%.

Required
Bachelors Degree and 12+ years experience. Master’s degree or Ph.D. and 10 - 13 years in a relevant ORSA or related STEM field.
8 – 12 years of related operations analysis and M&S experience, including:
Experience performing OR assessments across a product lifecycle that utilize all levels of the standard Department of Defense M&S Pyramid: Physics and Phenomenology, Systems Engineering, Engagement, Mission, and Campaign M&S Levels
Ability to work with Customers and Leidos teams to discern key customer requirements and 'hot buttons', and translate how to best demonstrate the military utility and operational benefit of Leidos solutions
Working knowledge of ORSA concepts, analytic techniques, and methodologies such as mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, mathematical optimization, simulation, stochastic-process models, decision analysis, and economic models
Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent public speaking skills. You will be working with senior management to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations
Experience working for or at one of the military analysis centers: N81; USAF Studies, Analysis and Assessments; Center for Army Analysis, etc. - and their standard and 'trusted' models (e.g. AFSIM, STORM, etc.)
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Travel: 25%
Preferred
Ph.D. and 10 years or MS Degree and 12 years experience
Experience working for or at one of the military analysis centers: N81; USAF Studies, Analysis and Assessments; Center for Army Analysis, etc. - and their standard and 'trusted' models (e.g. AFSIM, STORM, etc.)
Experience developing models and simulations with a modern programing language e.g. C/C++, Java
Experience in writing Python scripts
