Responsibilities
Developing a defined market with new customers;
Identifying and knowing every prospect;
Developing and driving a successful market development plan;
Identifying customer needs, develop value enhancing solutions and consulting on alternatives with client;
Mapping all divisions and key decision makers in each account; hunt new logos;
Weekly sales updates;
Achieving assigned sales targets on Monthly/Weekly accomplishments/CRM reports;
Proposal writing, financial justifications, closing the sale, follow up and account maintenance;
Leading the immediate sales team in developing new solutions and applications for customers;
Internal teamwork with partner groups to achieve complete customer satisfaction;
Taking total ownership of account plan and communicating to Meridian management on the strategy needed to be successful in territory: New customer development.

Required
3 or more years of successful sales experience is required around one or more of our Core Competencies: Data Center (networking, storage, distributed systems), Unified Workspace (Unified Communications, Contact Center), Cloud and Security/Risk Management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Practiced and proven presentation experience with demonstrable success
A self-motivated, assertive, and outgoing professional personality
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is a plus
Significant communications industry knowledge is preferred
