Responsibilities
Manage project engineering aspects of solar C&I projects to ensure timely completion within budget and company standards.
Lead design and engineering efforts for commercial & industrial, and utility-scale solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure project coordination across the organization.
Design and engineer commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar PV projects, including design optimization for early-stage opportunities.
Review technical documentation during due diligence and construction stages, providing inputs based on critical aspects of the PV project.
Support driving projects to completion per schedule, perform research on new technologies, review production analysis for PV systems, and assist in financial model inputs.
Work with equipment vendors on technical design, procurement, and review construction submittals to latest codes and standards.
Develop detailed equipment specifications, manage vendor relationships, and liaise with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering field in Renewable Energy
Three (3) years of experience in construction and design process in building solar projects
Three (3) years of experience in designing commercial and small utility scale PV projects
Three (3) years of experience working with National Electric Code to design and review project drawings as per code requirements
Three (3) years of experience working with PVsyst and Energy modeling tools to support in energy modeling analysis
Three (3) years of experience working between different project stages and understanding various development and construction stages
Three (3) years of experience with AutoCAD, Helioscope, or similar design software and medium voltage engineering
Three (3) years of experience with project interconnection and utility requirements including for interconnection of renewable resource to the grid at distribution and transmission level
One (1) year of experience working with multiple stakeholders of different scope and background and engineering principles applications including Structural, Civil, and Electrical
One (1) year of experience reviewing technical and due diligence documentation to understand the project existing progress and evaluate any red flags or technical discrepancies
One (1) year of experience communicating between different counterparties involved during the engineering phase to coordinate with multiple subject matter experts and stakeholders of other backgrounds to successfully communicate technical needs and requirements
