Responsibilities

Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.

Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.

May analyze or recommend commercially available software.

Gather data requirements, design enterprise data models, data mappings, data analysis, and data quality to enable the strategic information objectives of the company.

Create new and edit existing logical and physical models, XML, file formats using ER/Studio, XML Spy, or other equivalent enterprise tools.

Identify, analyze, and profile data sources.

Create Source to target Mapping documents defining transformations and business rules using Erwin mapping manager or other equivalent enterprise tools.

Create standard SQL to query, update, insert, and delete data.

Create Stored Procedures.

Facilitate business and technical teams towards solutions.

Extract and document data requirements to fulfill business needs or requirements.

Promote and apply AMC enterprise architecture best practices and standards at a project, program, and department level.

Ensure best practice and data governance is followed.

Promote the use of industry and internal data standards and internal enterprise data services.
