Responsibilities
Utilize data mining techniques to collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to risk exposure.
Develop predictive models to forecast risks and outcomes impacting the bank's operations and financial stability.
Collaborate with IT and data science teams to enhance data collection procedures and improve analytics quality.
Ensure compliance with data governance and protection standards for data integrity and security.
Prepare detailed reports and visualizations for senior management to illustrate insights from complex datasets.
Prepare and maintain documentation of risk control processes and methodologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders for monthly Operational Risk Reporting and standardized reporting.
Provide input for risk management activities and monitor KRI's within business units.
Build relationships with departments and key individuals across the organization.
Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies.
Identify and report suspicious activity.

Required
Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
Proficiency in analytical software and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, and Tableau
Comprehensive knowledge of operations, client relationship, risk management, and strategic planning with a strong working knowledge of bank regulations and back-office processes and systems
Above-average writing skills
Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
