Responsibilities
Advocate for exceptional experiences in designing partner products.
Modernize current tools in Rwanda and integrate them into the new partner ecosystem.
Own the end-to-end design of screens, patterns, components, and prototypes.
Coordinate and participate in research missions and user testing sessions.
Build empathetic relationships with developers to enhance collaboration and quality.
Work on shaping the design team's process, artifacts, and culture.

Required
9+ years as a UX or product designer
Experience in desktop-based, workflow-driven products from conception through to implementation
Experience in mobile design
Experience in digital products with offline dependencies
Experience working on software connected to hardware
Proficiency in a wide range of tools such as customer journey maps, card sorts, and flow diagrams
Ability to work at different levels of fidelity, from low-fidelity prototypes to developer-ready screen flows
Experience contributing to or working with a design system
Willingness to adapt to changing projects and priorities
Ability to empathize with external and internal users
Willingness to travel for short research trips
