Responsibilities

Analyze, design, architect, and code new features and enhancements for ClearGov's suite of applications based on detailed product requirements specifications

Collaborate with other software engineers, product owners, and software architects to plan design, develop, test, and maintain ClearGov applications

Code and unit test applications in accordance with established standards

Play an active role in contributing to the continuous improvement of the ClearGov development process

Write clear, concise technical documentation

Conduct peer-reviews of solution designs and related code

Actively participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Required

3+ years of software development experience building complex, multi-faceted SaaS products

Strong JavaScript skills both client side and server side (Node.js) to foster strong communication between varied project development teams

3+ years of working experience with SQL and relational databases. MySQL experience a plus

Proficiency in web development, API design, and testing

Proficiency in core platforms: Front-End: AngularJS/Angular 15+; Socket.IO; Highcharts; D3; gulp; Less.js, Back-End: Node.js; Express; RabbitMQ; MySQL; Elasticsearch, Environment: AWS; Amazon S3; Git; Heroku, Project Management: Jira; Confluence

Competent with cloud environments preferably AWS

In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology

Superb organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively

Excellent oral and written communication
