Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate packaging machinery and material movement equipment
Identify and implement equipment improvements to increase plant reliability
Communicate verbally and in writing regarding productivity issues
Distribute products, load/unload trucks, and support packaging lines
Perform equipment changeovers, preventative maintenance, and cleaning
Maintain process materials records and good housekeeping practices
Keep log records of operational activities for shift handover
Perform physical inventories and maintain a positive work attitude
Comply with HSSE regulations and actively participate in improving plant safety culture

Required

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Must be at least 18 years old, with a minimum High School diploma or GED
At least 1 year experience working in a packaging plant or similar experience in an industrial plant or military environment such as prior Military experience in a relevant job function including warehousing, supply, logistics and forklift operations
Previous experience working with high-speed, high-volume material handling equipment, forklift, filling bottling, canning experience
Must support a drug-free, harassment-free work environment and comply with the safety and & inclusion policies
Must possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Practical knowledge of industrial safety standards
Successful candidates must reside within a reasonable distance of the site or be willing to relocate to within a reasonable distance of the site without relocation assistance
Must be flexible to work overtime, nights, and weekends when the need arises
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Ability lift up to 50lbs unassisted
