Responsibilities

Develop and create original print and pattern designs for a variety of products by researching and analyzing current market trends, colors, and patterns to inform design concepts.

Prepare detailed design specifications and technical repeats for production using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and modify patterns.

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously to meet specified deadlines and participate in design reviews to provide constructive feedback to team members.

Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are aligned with brand vision and product requirements.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training

5+ years of experience in print and pattern design, preferably within [specific industry, e.g., fashion, home decor]

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of print and pattern designs

Excellent understanding of color theory, pattern repeat techniques, and textile processes

Strong creative and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Effective communication and presentation skills
