Responsibilities

Partner with budget stakeholders to understand their business area and provide analyses for decision-making.

Develop financial models, reports, and analyses to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts at department and company levels.

Create and monitor key performance indicators, analyze financial statements, and perform ad-hoc reporting.

Prepare financial updates for senior management and the Board of Directors.

Review processes for improvement opportunities, stay updated on financial trends, and support company values.

Participate in strategic business initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Required

BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or Economics.

2+ years of experience in FP&A / corporate finance / investment banking; familiarity with the software industry (and SaaS) a plus.

Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Experience with financial analysis and modeling, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.

Expert in Excel/PowerPoint (can maintain complex spreadsheets); comfortable managing large datasets and driver-based models.

Ability to think creatively, work independently and as part of a team to solve problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic, and adhere to deadlines.

Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences
