Responsibilities

Oversee multiple areas within the Financial Planning and Performance Business Functions, owning the end-to-end strategy and delivery of capabilities including the day-to-day operations of the critical systems.

Collaborate with Architecture, Platform, and Finance teams to understand business needs, build and deliver end-to-end solutions for business.

Lead, empower, and drive the team to reach the established organization and capability goals.

Analyze sophisticated business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.

Stay on top of investments, capacity, and project schedules.

Lead the organization’s effort to develop and improve operations through efficient and effective coordinated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organization resources.

Lead a geographically distributed team of software engineers and analysts.

Required

Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of demonstrated experience, OR Masters and 4+ years of progressive experience in engineering or related field.

At least 3 years of experience managing software engineering teams in Enterprise Applications, consumer Web or SaaS products along with minimum 2 years of people management experience.

Experience developing applications using Databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Experience supporting the Operations and Period Close Processes and Proficiency in Agile Principles and practices.

Preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.

Hands on experience with Business Intelligence, Management Reporting & Financial Planning systems

Working knowledge of Full-stack Engineering, microservice architecture, and large-scale application design and development.

Knowledge of Cloud Technologies & Integration such as Mongo, Cassandra, ES, Kafka, MuleSoft and Boomi.

Experience in managing large-scale platforms and/or infrastructure.

Domain knowledge of Corporate Finance, Management Reporting, Data & Analytics is a plus

Advanced SQL knowledge for data analysis and auditing
