Responsibilities
Building, testing and deploying enhancements to existing software and infrastructure
Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability
Working closely with domain teams on various new and existing projects
Participating actively in the Agile development process as part of a dynamic project team
Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in software engineering for continuous improvement and innovation

Required
Pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field with a graduation date between December 2024 and August 2025
Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures and algorithms
Proficiency in Java or C++ programming language.
Understanding of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, etc.
Knowledge of data interchange formats (e.g. XML, JSON etc.)
Understanding of RDBMS concepts, SQL, and database design principles
Understanding of messaging frameworks
Understanding of Agile methodologies and industry standard software development lifecycle
Experience using software development and testing tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Preferred
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.
Knowledge of event driven (EDA) and pub/sub architectures with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of container technologies and platforms such as Docker and EKS
Familiarity with Spring Framework including Spring Boot.
Knowledge of version control systems and workflow (Git)
Understanding of microservices architecture, principles and patterns.
Familiarity with Test Driven Development and testing frameworks such as JUnit/Jupiter, Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, Jest etc.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts and experience using tools like Jenkins
Understanding of various web services concepts and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and knowledge of libraries such as React
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) including services like EC2, S3, ECS, Beanstalk etc.
