Responsibilities
Develops, enhances, and maintains custom software applications and integrations with third party applications/services
Works in all phases of the software development life cycle including functional analysis, technical requirements, design, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, data migration, and support
Takes ownership of problems, proactively works with stakeholders and IT team members, and adheres to best practices in coding and data management
Participates in daily stand ups, collaborates with scrum team, designs solutions for senior leaders, and solves problems independently
Finds, analyzes, and fixes bugs and performance issues, works in a matrixed environment, and supports Application Support team with system issues

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems
3+ years of software development experience
Proficient in multiple programming languages, including JavaScript and C#
Experience in full-stack development using React and .NET Framework/Core
Familiarity with relational database concepts, structured query language, logic modeling, best practices, and design
Experience with Agile/Scrum software development processes
Strong understanding of object-orientated programming
Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git
Legally authorized to work in the US for ANY employer
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce
Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS
Experience with Agile/Scrum software development processes
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
Experience working on deregulated power systems
Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a variety of internal and external parties
Ability to identify opportunities for technical improvements in specific processes and recommend solutions
