Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead a team of business intelligence and data analysts, and data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Project Management: Prioritize, lead, and manage business, data, and data analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Data and Data Analytics Strategy: Work closely with CTO to develop and implement data and data analytics strategy aligned with overall data analytics roadmap and organizational goals and objectives.
Data Analysis and Visualization: Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate complex data insights and support business decision-making.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders to identify needs, develop solutions, and present findings to drive business outcomes.
Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
Tool Development and Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of data analytics tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
Innovation and Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field (STEM); Master's degree preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Broad experience with data manipulation and analysis (SQL and e.g. Python, R, etc.)
High proficiency with business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ELT processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Organized with good project management skills
Strong understanding of data governance and quality principles
Cloud Platform: Familiarity with cloud-based business intelligence and data analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
Preferred
Agile Practitioner: Experience with Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Domain Expertise: Experience working in the financial industry - real assets a plus
