Responsibilities

Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications

Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages

Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software

Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the team's skills and expertise are current

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in application development or application engineering

5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering

Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby

Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Extensive experience in JavaScript App development using contemporary React and Redux approaches and tools. These include: Hooks, Function Components, and React Router.

Command of the modern JavaScript language. This includes ES6 language additions such as: array, map, and set methods; module architecture; arrow functions; object and array destructuring; function parameter methods; and Promises.

Experience with typing libraries (preferably TypeScript)
