Responsibilities

Supporting Triage Cancer’s Legal & Financial Navigation Program by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and sending follow-up communications

Assisting in the fulfillment and distribution of educational materials to stakeholders nationwide

Preparing for educational events and representing Triage Cancer at community events

Providing administrative support to the organization's CEO and COO

Conducting research to support programmatic operations, marketing, and administrative activities

Assisting in various administrative tasks including correspondence, calendar management, supply inventory, and database maintenance

Operating office machines, managing mail, and proofreading documents

Performing other duties as assigned

Required

Strong oral and written communications and problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service skills, with professional demeanor in person, in writing, and on the phone

Ability to work as part of a team and independently, follow instructions, and be organized

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), email, and the internet

This position is based in the Chicagoland area and is a hybrid remote and in-person position

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Attend trainings as necessary

Ability to lift 40 pounds

Valid Driver License and valid automobile liability insurance, or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions

Ability to travel to events throughout the United States as necessary (~4 to 10 per year)
