Responsibilities

Work at the direction of the Security Manager to enhance company security

Administer Palo Alto Firewalls, Fortigate Firewalls, and F5 Load Balancers

Configure and administer security systems and tools

Respond to security incidents, report on incident handling and resolution

Enforce security policies and procedures by monitoring system activity

Review security violation reports, investigate exceptions, update and maintain security controls

Provide after-hours monitoring and on-call support

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field

Hands on experience maintaining corporate firewalls (preferably with direct experience on Palo Alto Firewalls), Panorama Experience, Global Protect VPN configuration and management

Hands on experience maintaining corporate load balancers (preferably with direct experience on F5 load balancers)

Detailed knowledge of the OSI model and its application across corporate networks

Working knowledge of Windows, Red Hat Linux and Oracle Linux operating systems

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Access, Visio

Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

Ability to work as part of a team
