Responsibilities
Oversee and drive all planning and execution for Black Girls CODE program event experiences, and ensure that the execution of programs are consistent with organizational goals and strategies
Develop and implement effective outreach strategies that drive the expansion our key programs in an assigned region of 2-3 states within the US
Secure brand new partnerships with local schools and community-based organizations across the designated region to drive expansion at scale
Research and track upcoming events (virtual and in-person) and new contacts at high-yield organizations, such as schools, local STEM and education organizations, online networks, local cultural networks, etc.
Conduct phone calls and email campaigns to individuals and organizations to build awareness for the Black Girls Code mission and programs
Represent Black Girls Code at targeted meetings, community events and conferences to increase program visibility
Convert interested students from lead to registrant to attendee through phone banking and additional individualized follow-up strategies
Plan and execute participation in Black Girls CODE curated content, partner events, including securing speakers, workshop facilitation and brand sponsorship opportunities
Monitor, measure, track and analyze the effectiveness of initiatives and programming using data to drive decision-making
Lead post-event debriefs with stakeholders
Curate and manage multiple, complex program schedules successfully in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Secure, manage, and build/maintain relationships with volunteers in collaboration with Volunteer Outreach Manager
Create new processes, templates and implement new tools for programs where necessary
Contribute to overall program operational excellence by optimizing, identifying and recommending methods to streamline processes
Up to 35% in-person travel to areas within assigned regions for camps, conferences, workshops, events, and to cultivate new partnerships. •This role requires attendance to a 2-week summer camp and a 3 day bootcamp (annually)•

Required
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with experience in youth, community and educational program development and/or management
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a constantly changing environment
Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with diverse audiences and partners
High cultural competency with experience serving diverse populations and disengaged youth from under-resourced communities
Integrity, maturity, credibility, and a demonstrated commitment to BGC’s mission
