Responsibilities
Evaluate new engineering designs for manufacturability and collaborate to resolve findings.
Evaluate new SMT technologies and methodologies to support new product designs.
Manage a complete SMT line and have programming knowledge of all elements.
Troubleshoot production-related defects and improve processes for root cause resolution.
Optimize manufacturing processes, including change-over/setups, to maximize efficiency.
Function in a team-based mindset to ensure buy-in from all relevant parties.

Required
BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Must have several years New Product Introduction experience, Emphasis on DFM
Candidate must have 5+ years of directly related SMT manufacturing experience.
IPC-610/JSTD-001 certification required.
Circuit CAM and Gerber good working knowledge/understanding is required.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
Preferred
Experience with the following equipment a positive: MY500 Jet Printer or equivalent paste screening experience, My100 pick and place equipment including programming and troubleshooting packages, Selective Solder or equivalent, Mirtec/Viscom AOI, CircuitCam and Aegis.
