Responsibilities
Responsible for activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects.
Interface with client personnel and develop working relationships with stakeholders including customer Product Owners.
Ensure timely and cost-effective performance while maintaining high quality.
Support the team in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives.
Implement, enforce, and continually improve Agile/Scrum principles/practices.
Provide mentoring and training on Agile processes, methods, and practices.
Serve as the leadership proxy and gather team metrics.
Facilitate Root Cause Analysis for defects and identify/remove impediments.
Proactively seek process improvements and facilitate team dynamics.
Manage a team of technical professionals on an Agile Scrum Team.
Adapt and work constructively with a diverse team.

Required
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
5-8 or more years of experience as a Scrum Master or related role
Experience supporting government contracts
Experience participating in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated development team
Solid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle
Adaptable and able to work constructively with a technically and geographically diverse team.
Must pass a CBP Background Investigation (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred
Agile or Scrum Master certification
Experience supporting Federal government project
Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
Experience working in a dynamic, multifaceted environment
Acts independently to expose and resolve challenges
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
