Responsibilities
Data analysis and reporting on laboratory demonstration events, providing system assessment reports.
Supporting the development and execution of data analysis plans for each demonstration event.
Supporting the execution of HITL demonstration events and identifying EW system capability shortfalls.
Preparing custom analysis scripts in Python or MATLAB, modeling SUT antenna parameters, and working with simulation designers.
Interfacing with EW system program stakeholders to understand technical objectives and assessment reporting objectives.
Supporting the development of HITL simulation scenarios for execution in the AF laboratory or customer-housed simulator systems.

Required
Top Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering, or Data Science)
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Data analysis experience
Understanding of RF physics, including principles of RF propagation. Understanding of RF antenna applications, ground-based or airborne radar applications, and RF receiver systems.
Experience in digital I/Q data analysis and with software tools such as X-Midas and Willow and ASAP IQ recording hardware
Experience using MATLAB / X MIDAS / Willow / Python / C / C++ to help upgrade legacy software systems which are at an “end of life” state which limits functionality and makes bug fixes difficult. Experience using a quality DevOps environment for code collaboration, software merging, issue tracking and version control.
Experience in an Agile team environment, actively supporting scrum meetings and using Confluence and Jira as coordination tools.
Experience in Windows and Linux environments
Experience with scientific/engineering/statistical analysis and programming environments including R and National Instruments LabView.
Preferred
Experience with Next-Generation Threat System (NGTS) and Next-Generation Electronic Warfare Environment Generator (NEWEG) frameworks.
Experience with using field-programmable gate array (FPGA) hardware for a speed up in RF processing at lower costs
Familiarity with operation of RF signal generators and measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Fluency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Basic familiarity with database systems such as Microsoft Access or Oracle. Fluency in database design methodology is not required.
