Responsibilities

Adhere to contract technical requirements while developing, and maintaining, step-by-step process plans in the manufacturing of Control Rod Drive Mechanisms.

Monitor manufacturing processes and implement improvements to ensure processes are safe, maintain high quality and are performed efficiently to meet delivery and cost requirements.

Generate SAP routings based on step-by-step process plans.

Develop CAD drawings detailing step-by-step process plans, process fixturing, process tooling, and process setup instructions.

Design, develop, test/source, and cost-justifiy various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.

Work with other internal departments, customer and vendors to resolve issues encountered during the manufacturing process.

Propose, support and participate in continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery or cost.

Participate in R&D projects by providing technical support to assure prototypical hardware meets guidelines.

Assist in technical training of new hires.

Minor business travel may be required.
