Responsibilities

Perform qualifications and sampling of new tools, materials, and machines to ensure that preventative maintenance processes are developed which results in acceptable levels of quality and efficiency

Assist maintenance and tool technicians in determining causes for machines running outside normal production processes and resolving to maintain an acceptable level of quality and efficiency

Train technicians to develop skills needed to maintain acceptable line performance to reduce scrap and machine downtime

Assist in audits, inspections, safety meetings, GMP reviews, and other duties not directly related to engineering duties

Attend daily meetings with Maintenance Manager and staff to discuss past 24-hour issues and resolutions
