Responsibilities

Solve unique and complex problems using the latest technologies to create highly scalable solutions.

Work with large volumes of data, data modeling, ETL design, and business intelligence tools.

Partner with the business to identify strategic opportunities for improvements in data infrastructure.

Operate highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets.

Develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses.

Utilize Business Intelligence technologies like Tableau, MicroStrategy, Quicksight, etc.

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Statistics/Engineering or 4+ years of relevant experience in Data engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics

4+ years of experience working with cross functional teams

Advanced experience with Business Intelligence technologies like Tableau, MicroStrategy, Quicksight, etc.

Advanced experience in SQL

Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing

Advanced expertise in Excel

Experience operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets

Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses

Preferred

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems and related field and 5+ years industry experience

Experience with programming tools (Python, R, etc.) to create custom applications based upon analytical needs

Experience in statistical analysis (e.g. ability to conduct analyses using regression, modeling, forecasting approaches, and related tools)

Familiar with HR, Finance or people-related data

Experience with Machine Learning Techniques to Understand Data Patterns and Make Predictions

Experience in managing and prioritizing a project backlog

1+ year end-to-end Anaplan system implementation or similar IT app development experience (requirements gathering, design, build/test, deploy, support)

L1, L2, and L3 Anaplan Model Building Certified

Our team utilizes Anaplan to develop planning tools
