Responsibilities
Participate in collaborative network design, deployment, and upkeep tasks within the Network Engineering team, concentrating on various network platforms.
Oversee configurations, problem resolution, and operational efficacy of network devices, ensuring network performance and security.
Generate and manage detailed documentation for network architecture and troubleshooting methods, promoting knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Monitor network systems for performance issues, implementing strategic improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
Keep abreast of emerging networking technologies and trends, proposing and executing network enhancements to maintain technological advancement.
Conduct routine network evaluations and compliance checks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
Generate network optimization reports utilizing provided tools and dashboards to assess network performance and identify areas for enhancement.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4-6 years of relevant work experience in IT.
4-6 years of experience in designing and managing converged networks, including various network components.
2-4 years of experience with medium to large scale projects.
2-4 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, particularly with Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies.
Expertise in Layer 3 networking, including IP routing, multicast, and VPN technologies.
Proficiency in networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
Strong experience in routing, switching, and wireless networking.
Proficient in firewall management and security practices.
Familiarity with cable infrastructure, including fiber optic and Ethernet cabling.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Autonomous and able to manage multiple tasks.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work off-hours when necessary.
Ability to handle physical IT equipment and occasional domestic travel.
Preferred
Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or Palo Alto Networks certifications.
Proficient in diagramming tools like Lucidchart or Microsoft Visio.
