Responsibilities
The Design Engineer is a graduate of civil, structural, or environmental engineering
The facets of design include horizontal and vertical alignment calculations, superelevation design, grading, drainage design consisting of both hydraulic and hydrologic design of pipes and ditches
Sports & Recreation projects varying from baseball, football, and soccer fields, both natural and artificial turf, parks and playgrounds, tennis & pickle ball courts, swimming pools and outdoor fitness gyms
Utilize AutoCAD as a tool for design and will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer
The Design Engineer will assist entry level engineers become proficient in AutoCAD and will work independently on small projects and collaboratively on large projects
Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
BS in Civil Engineering
5 -10 years of experience
Professional Engineer (P.E)
ASCE classification is Grade III/IV
Experience with sports & recreation projects
