Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Execute manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.

Collaborate with the development team to understand project scope and testing requirements.

Transition from manual testing to automated testing as the project progresses.

Write automated tests using JavaScript and the Playwright framework.

Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Participate in User Story writing and business requirements gathering.

Report and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

Required

Proven experience in manual testing, with the ability to create and execute detailed test plans.

Familiarity with automated testing, preferably with experience in writing tests as code.

Basic knowledge of coding, with a preference for candidates familiar with JavaScript.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience with User Story writing and business requirements gathering is highly desirable.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred

Experience with the Playwright framework is a plus.
